Worst W. Wash. Traffic Bottlenecks

For me it is anything close to Portland...

Always heavy traffic when I'm down that way.

I seldom go North of DuPont so can't comment on Tacoma/Seattle

But now, I very, very seldom drive to Seattle because of the traffic. I do go to sporting events, but by a walk-on ferry ride. Driving is not my bad in heavy traffic. But try driving the speed limit on I-5 and you will be passed by 80% of the traffic...and the cops don't seem to care.
Here on the Peninsula you can pick out Seattle drivers by the speed they drive and impatiences they show.

But you are right it will never get better, even with all the so-called traffic improvements over the last 50 years which seem to be a continuing event.

I moved to a very Rural area of Eastern WA....It's awesome pulling out of my driveway and hitting 65 mph in just under 20 seconds....no stop lights, or stop signs....just wide open spaces and beautiful nature and wild animals

Good for you! Avoid going north of DuPont like the plague.....rush hour traffic is bad enough to send Dr. Phil to the mental ward
