I am moving from Nevada to Bellevue in November. General google results show that T-mobile coverage sucks badly in Washington, but most of the discussions were at least a year or two old. Has their coverage improved outside of urban areas?

Thanks.

Nope. I switched because T Mobile's rates were better. After many dropped calls in central Seattle neighborhoods in the first few days of service, i went begging on my hands and knees back to Verizon. Great reception and no dropped calls, ever.

Big two? Only one I know of with good service is Verizon. I have AT&T with my work provided phone and my wife has Verizon. She always has significantly better service.

No sir.
Verizon, in my experience, is the fastest, most reliable, and clearest sounding of all.
I've used AT&T for work up until June of this year.
Like @homesinseattle, I thought I'd be smart and save a few bucks by switching our family to T-Mobil. Bad idea. I went back too.
Now one I do remember being great was Nextel, with those walkie talkie phones. I think Sprint bought them out years ago, so I'm not sure how good it is now.

A new T Mobile store just opened in our area, but everyone I know around here says the coverage is bad. Verizon is dominant.

I haven’t heard of Nextel in years...used to carry one for work. Sprint is nonexistent here, I think. When my daughter visits, her AT&T phone has spotty coverage.

I still say the T-mobile motto is....

If you aren't in a mall, why do you need a phone?

I have a friend that works for T-mobile and he uses another carrier because of the poor T-mobile coverage.

I had T-mobile for years because it was cheaper. Coverage was truly awful.

No. I had T-mobile when I moved here from NYC (great there, had it for 10+ years) but here it's pretty bad from my experience particularly when you get out of metro areas. I got tired of having no signal and switched to Verizon and it's much much better IMO albeit a bit pricier.

I brought a Verizon and my T-Mobil work phone with me to Thurston County...

The T-Mobil would show a lot of missed calls when I went into town.

The Verizon actually worked just about everywhere I went...

I really want to switch as I like the idea of a local company but no dice. I have AT&T. Sorry OP.

If you live in the San Juans T-Mobil is the best choice, Verizon next, AT&T is last. Part of it is T-Mobil put up some short monopoles on Lopez, Orcas, & San Juan. But a lot of it is they don’t cut you off from cell towers in Canada the way AT&T does.
