Maybe we need a system like Baniff where you have to apply to live in the area??

Another step would be to limit purchase of homes and property by non-county residents. Limit people moving to Wenatchee to those with firm job offers or family ties in the area.

Maybe Wenatchee needs some kind of system to increase the rate for electricity for high users. Seems to me that Wenatchee has tons of potential view lots scattered about....I expect Wenatchee to continue growing for some time.

All the PUD’s have done that. Bitcoin mining is done in eastern Washington.

The problem is all the “refugees” from the coast. Wenatchee is rapidly becoming Bellevue east and there is no there in Bellevue. Soon there Wenatchee will be as boring and bland as Bellevue.

There is a real lack of flat ground in the Wenatchee Valley. The County Commissioners are thinking about increasing the minimum road grades to 30% so that the additional housing can go into the hills and not the orchard ground.

30% road grade in winter would be an adventure.

Bye Wenatchee!! I sure did love you. Went all the time with family to the Apple Blossom Festival, and a few times to Hell on Hooves.
Looks like you will be turned inside out due to bitcoin mining. I will miss you. I hope the residents fight this opulence of mini mansions which will ruin you.
