Majority rule has been the basis for most democratic governments throughout history.

In just about any country, not under the rule of a dictator, the largest racial or ethnic group typically prevails in government.

Should that now change to favor the desires of a small minority? If so, why? Are their wishes somehow more important?

Majority is now being widely conflated with privilege.

I wonder what effect this is going to have on future generations. A subject that is compulsory in some states and banned in others.... I just see it as further dividing our country. It’s really irresponsible of the state of Washington to require this without any sort of debate and consensus on the national level. And if no consensus is forthcoming then it doesn’t belong in the education system. Last time I checked we were a democracy. I expect there will be lawsuits, this will eventually make its way to the Supreme Court and I can only hope that intelligence will prevail. I can’t imagine such a politicized, controversial school of thought being upheld by the current court.

It will win because it’s already been painted by the media and big tech that if you don’t agree with it, you must be racist and are now an acceptable target for any sort of crime, robbery etc because you deserved it.

Another idiot idea by Liberals and Democrats, why I am not shocked. Sometimes I think that group has nothing better to do than waste students and teacher's time. If the teacher union's wasn't corrupt they would toss that crap out.

East Asians work hard and study hard and do better than most other "groups."

They are privileged. Sarcasm of course.

WA state has gone down the rabbit hole.

When my daughters entered college I worked 2 jobs for 3.5 years. Their mom worked cleaning hotel rooms on weekends while working at home and running the home.

I would have liked some of that white privilege. I wonder if my daughters know this.

”Edmonds School District force staff to sit through hours of critical race theory training on equity and institutionalizing racism.” LOL. ONOZ.

Too bad folks feel upset about being forced to acknowledge uncomfortable truths. Guessing 150 years ago you would have also been really upset about the radical idea that washing your hands reduces infections. Change is hard.

About your charming little source, OP, that likes to toss around scary words like "toxic" and "indoctrinate";
Quote:
The Federalist is an American conservative online magazine and podcast that covers politics, policy, culture, and religion, and publishes a newsletter. The site was co-founded by Ben Domenech and Sean Davis and launched in September 2013.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Federalist published many pieces that contained false information or pseudoscience that was contrary to the recommendations of public health experts and authorities. While ballots were being counted in the 2020 United States presidential election, The Federalist made false claims that there had been large-scale election fraud
Sounds like they've cornered the "crapola" market.

'Nuff said.
