This highway has the North River rec area and goes along the water. Is it beachy or swampy most of the way?

I remember when that stretch, from Tokeland to Raymond, didn't exist - the road, anyway. It was built in the late 50s. There are river and bay views, but not "beaches" (surf and sand). There is water access at the Smith Creek Wildlife Recreation Area, if you have a boat or kayak:

Thanks I tried Google View and yes there are trees but if you check Google Earth - its not a thick layer of trees and there is something wet on the other side .

Washington Roads says it has traffic of 1000 cars a day on average on that segment. They have some land west of the river recreation area but no idea how often people utilize it.

Crazy Donkey - why not get with Diana and write a travel book of Washinton- using excepts from City_Data posts along with your general knowledge? Diana could add real estate notes.

Where is the property you're looking at? Do you know how to check the County maps on their website? That would show mapped wetlands, etc.
