Been a great summer. Reminds me of 1993.

In Wenatchee, we were dreading fire season in 1993 and it rained for part of the day.....every two weeks. Enough the knock the stuffings out of the fire season.

Only complaint, this year is all the partly cloudy weather, particularly the high circus clouds. Could do without those particularly at night. At least, it is still sunny, but I hate clouds.

But after the past decades of fire season I am ready for one without smoke or worrying about the house being burned down because some idiot decided to have a campfire in July or August.

The mosquitos in my backyard were really bad, the most I've noticed in 7 years here, from the extra rain into late June and July. The jet stream is getting more wobbly, not sure if that relates to anything right now but Its causing the arctic blasts in winter

I'm liking this summer a lot better than the 2 previous summer's, this is IMO the best summer we had since 2011 weather wise.

I'm also liking the fact that it's not nearly as smoky this year like we were the last 2 years at this time, plus I also enjoyed the wicked thunder/lightning storms we had in the wee hours of this morning (I'm from the Tri-Cities).

This summer has been perfect, just the way I remember summers here all my life, except for the past few hot ones. Rain during August, yes please.
