Monday marks the deadline for residents of Washington state registering to vote online.But this isn’t the last chance for voters to register.

This year, for the first time, people can register in person at voting centers right through election day, November 5.

And if you’re registering in person, you don't need a state ID, or even a home address, to do that.

Everyone should at least have state ID to register - and vote.

Residency is fair also, IMO.

IMO, requiring ID is not a poll tax.

ID is needed for so many things today.

Someone who cannot afford a DL or state ID card is a dysfunctional idiot.

I'm aware of the USSC ruling.

Affluence is not being able to buy a measly state ID card? Valid for 7 years?

I did when I was a teen.

Anyone who cannot or will not is a dysfunctional loser.

We need to know who is who.
