I saw this last night. Sad news - he was a very good Husky football coach. Competitive as all get out - a lot like Don James. Great reputation as a hard-nosed college football coach.

Didn't like his style and things he said publicly.

He also changed the helmets to that awful design.

A loudmouth who talked trash in the media.

Perhaps when someone dies the positives should be made known. He never had a losing record as head coach for Washington. He also got the Dawgs into a pac12 champion in ‘95. Nobody is perfect but the above negative post is unwarranted imo.
