This is a challenge everywhere in the US. Usually, unless. you get really lucky, you have to go to one who doesn't accept insurance, and pay out of pocket for everything, if you have any kind of chronic condition, and need someone knowledgeable. if you're in pretty good health, though, you have more options. Still, it can be like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Sorry, I know this wasn't helpful. I was just commiserating...
