It is worse today on the OP, hotter & smokier than yesterday. I'm assuming this is from fires in BC.

It’s feeling like it’s going to be a lot less hot today anyway… The smoke is filtering out some of the sun.

I think it’s supposed to blow out beginning tonight right? Is that still the forecast?

I can see a slight outline of mountains right now for first time since the smoke came in & it's somewhat cooler than yesterday at this time.

The smoke has cleared out at night only to be back at sunrise, so...???

My portable a/c has become my bff again after a 11-year retirement.

Right, we have one too, a window unit I'm not even sure where I got. It's too small for this room, but if I stick it in the window and sit in front of it, it's not bad.

We came back from SeaTac last night about 10:00pm with a guest.
The sun was very orange toward the end of the day.
When we arrived at our place she got out of the car she said this place smells really nice.
I was in shock but at least it didn’t stink.
This morning I looked out the window and I’m like dang it the smoke returned but it was only the fog and was sprinkling a bit.
We had very blue sky’s for about 10 minutes a couple hours ago and now the fog came back.
My yard is loving this .

Yep, it is sunny & breezy with blue skies right now. I wish it was that way for everyone.

So the air was bad here for only one day (Friday). Saturday had moderate air and Sunday was normal.
