When one of them is confronted with how pointless their comment was, another makes a different off-topic comment… anything to avoid truthful engagement with the facts.

And their comments have been read millions of times. A sad reality is that these message boards seem to exist not for intelligent discourse but rather to propagate misinformation and propaganda that play to feelings instead of facts. This thread is a microcosm of POC which is a cesspool of lies, misdirection, and bullying. It's like whack a mole except that it's no joke. Thirty percent of the electorate is being led by the nose and are absolutely convinced that their opinions are superior, facts be damned. They think that "research" is something that they found on the Internet that affirms their beliefs. The very sad fact is that a certain very popular fake news channel is complicit.

Your tireless defense of the pharmaceutical industry and their vaccines is admirable, and that has earned you +15 in your social credit score

You may now enjoy a real meat hamburger or vintage western movie

To keep on topic of “vaccine mandates your opinion?”.

What is America’s opinion as a whole?
Where do we really stand on this?
Depending on where you get your information you will get quite different views and answers to this.

Are the anti mandate crowd the minority or the majority when it comes to ending these restrictions?

Same question for the other side.
Are the pro mandate crowd the minority or the majority when it comes to keeping these restrictions?

My money is on most of us are done with the mandates and restrictions by a large margin regardless of political associations.

So are we really pro mandates and restrictions as a majority?

Anyone with natural immunity should NOT be required to take the vaccine.

I've said it a hundred times, so this makes 101:
Person A was vaccinated but mounted no immune response (this certainly happens).
Person B had Covid, no vaccine, and has the antibodies.

Which person is better protected, and safer to be around?

At this point the vast majority of us have either been infected or vaccinated.
The reasons we continue to have restrictions are purely political.

Again, deflection, no facts, can’t engage on the issues, posts meme. No substance, just the urge to engage with like minded folks in a frenzy of posts reaffirming existing beliefs. Then, back to ‘news’ sources and feeds cherry picked to never challenge the narrative, but rather to build more and more outrage.

In the meanwhile, some of us will seek the truth, learn as things change, admit when we are/were wrong, and keep doing what is needed to fight Covid, promote the truth, and engage in real discussions where actual science and facts are traded.

We have restrictions because we have high spread of disease. As the numbers go down, so will the restrictions. It is only political to the extent that the states with larger cities and thus airports and population density see the effects of the disease in a more acute sense, and so respond more strongly. Places without the same respond less strongly and consequently experience a higher death rate, but in the background, so do not realize/acknowledge their problem.

The restrictions are minimal and make sense.
