Hospitalizations and deaths increasing again…

If you are over 65 and unvaccinated, getting the vaccine now would be great to help keep the hospitals from experiencing the coming spike that is predicted based on omicron’s effect in the larger cities. As with Delta, the increases in deaths will be well reported in the larger cities, but the larger proportions of deaths will once again target the rural, unvaccinated parts of the country.

If you have already had Covid, these stats will likely not affect you, unless you had a very mild case or if you are in a vulnerable group, in which case you should consider a vaccine.

Did you happen to see when the bill was filled?

This is the kind of low to no context news byte that I think helps mislead the public. Where’s the rest of the interview? Are Americans really served best by getting news in 2 second snippets?

I’m glad they’re letting the CDC do independent briefings again after Trump stopped them, but they need to be careful with their messaging.
