Quiet city, dead on a Saturday night, Anglican presence,
Dark, but not dark enough to see the stars.
If there were a city tree, then it would be the Garry
Oak (Quercus garryana).
Local architecture is bleak, mismatched, and on the more destitute side.
Mostly sprawl along the main drag.
The local "gay" population has no interest in going out for lunch.
"It's all down to business,"
Even the local military men with their "disabled" wives are partaking in the lunch-less dates with other men.
Me, personally, I would care less if this city slipped into oblivion just like Sodom and Gomorrah.
Wipe it clean.
It's too bad that the white folks had to occupy such a beautiful area and then let it deteriorate into an unfriendly mess.
Let the remnant Natives reoccupy after Christ's Second Coming and once again live in the natural beauty.
Off the corner of the bend of the State Hwy lies a vacant lot. Next to it is another empty building. Downtown is dated, and no ones wants to take a chance on "Chances."
Some people just stop and stare. I guess that would be considered gawking. There is nothing unusual that an educated crowd couldn't handle about me. I am here by circumstance.
