I'm looking for this campground in Washington state that held a prize ride. This was back in 2014 to 2015 and somewhere or something to do with Black Diamond or Ravensdale. It was green and forested with some gravel trails that went through mountain range as well as past a beautiful body of water.

The campground had log horse pens and a grassy open field. I was only a teen and I don't remember the drive. Any point in the right direction helps, even if it's just listing campgrounds with these horse pens.

Different area and further south in Thurston county, but capital forest and Margaret McKenny camp in particular have nice horse camping and access to terrific maintained trails.

There are throughout the year several prize rides out of Capitol forest. Many depart out of a different area of the forest from the evergreen gun club… just because it has the best parking for big crowds. They leave through mima mounds trail head.

Both areas have a good camping with corrals.

Sorry, I can’t help further north!

Black Diamond and Ravensdale are in south central King County. Google maps shows a listing for Misty Acres horse lessons and trail rides in a wooded area. They have a Ravensdale address. Perhaps that's what you're looking for?
