I have a friend who is a WSP Trooper and I went on a ride along with him last summer. Let me tell you it was non-stop all night/morning. Started with a high speed chase across the narrows bridge and never stopped. Racing from Gig Harbor to Lacey at 140mph. We actually spent alot of time off of the freeways and got a few DUIs on city streets. Took a drugged out crazy guy to the hospital. Its a good place to work for and being a WSP you get to do a lot more than just speeding tickets.
