Hi
read some of the reviews on Oak Harbor WA, thinking about relocation to that area, husband works construction all over west coast, currently only 1 income in the home. His. California is tough right now, trying to move my whole family, need short term rental and to see if working in Bellingham or Everett is a feasible option for me and my daughter in laws

I have been looking at the newpapers from the area it does not seem to be too bad compared to what we are paying out here. Just would like to know if it would be feasible at all to work in Bellingham or Everett from Oak Harbor, I have not been out there not real sure of the distances/commute time.

Oak Harbor? I think you'd be taking the Mukilteo ferry, which isn't far from Everett. Oak Harbor's on an island.

Default relocating too

hi there, we seem to be in similar positions. we also live currently in california, and things are getting really hard. my husband also works in construction and he is the main provider right now, since i returned to school and have one more year to go. but we can't stand it here anymore, he works for the carpenters union, and earns a descent wage but work is very unstable, sometime he will go on for two to three months without working, specially around the holidays, and we are barely making it.we are also eager to move to washington, but he just wants to make sure he can find a jib and that we can pay rent... any information that you get could be also usefull for us and viceversa?
