Does the Gray's Harbor area have a tourist season, and if so what are the usual months?
We used to live on the West Coast of Oregon and their season ran from June to Sept.
We will be arriving on June 8th and was just wondering what kind of festivities there was going on. I looked on the internet but there really wasn't alot listed, so I was assuming that the season is over by then?

Have you Googled festivals in Ocean Shores? Westport? Forks? Sol Duc? La Push? Port Angeles? Sequim? Port Townsend?
There are many festivals all spring and summer in those areas.

Grays Harbor Tourism has a comprehensive event search function on their website:
Grays Harbor Tourism[]=11&action=search_step_2
Grays Harbor is mostly focused on the Ocean Beaches - Westport, Grayland, Tokeland to the South, and Ocean Shores to the North.

In Westport:
You just missed the Annual Crab Races, which was in Mid-April.
This weekend is the Cleanwater Classic & Surf Festival (May 15 - 17)
Rusty Scuppers Pirate Daze kind of kicks off the touristy season on June 26-28th.
Fourth of July will have festivals in most of these small towns.
Westport hosts a great Art Festival August 15 - 16.
Seafood Festival is Labor Day weekend.
Crush Me, Squeeze me, Make me wine at the beach (wine festival) in October.

Wine & Chocolate festival in the north beach in early spring is a lot of fun too!

Enjoy!

Yep, Grays Harbor has plenty going on during those month's. Your tourist season in Oregon is pretty dead on with ours. Try the Chamber websites. Ocean Shores Events Calendar and Gray's Harbor - Chamber of Commerce It's almost that season again! Hope you'll come back.
