Actually that is not correct. The only reason they allow smoking is because the casino sits on Tribal land.
Gonna disagree. Most casinos, on tribal land or not, allow smoking. Some have no-smoking areas, but even in Vegas, smoking is allowed in 99% of casino areas.

Not true in Washington. Tribal is the only smoking establishment for anything. Casinos not on tribal land are non smoking along with all bars, resturaunts, hotels. Most poker rooms Tribal or/including Vegas are non smoking. You can smoke just outside of them but not allowed in poker areas. Every tribal or Vegas casino that does allow smoking I have been in also have a non smoking area for slots etc. I do agree many that gamble want to smoke but there has been a big push in the last couple of years to make areas to bring in the non smoking gamblers also.

Just had dinner last night at the brand spanking new Slo Pitch Pub and Casino in Bellingham. (Just one block off I-5 on Meridian, opposite side of the freeway from the Bellis Fair Mall)

Great new place.(yes, it's the same one that used to be at Sunset Sq. All new now though) Lots of flat panel TV's, gaming area, and a restaurant area that serves the family as well.

Had a halibut burger that was other worldly. For those in Whatcom County, check it out.
