We've heard the food at casinos is pretty good and we'd like to try some of their restaurants. I've been to only one casino in the Kitsap area - the one near the Agate Pass bridge. The lunch buffet was good but the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke. Are there any casinos (or their restaurants) that don't smell like cigarettes? Thanks.

Indian Casinos still allow smoking. Sucks big time. Try for a non Indian Casino.

I think the Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn has a non smoking casino as well as a smoking one.

Hey, doesn't anyone realize that smoking and gambling tend to be common traits? Not making judgements here, but the two tend to go hand-in-hand. I am probably the exception, as I occasionally like to go the casinos, but I do not smoke. But I understand the rules, and if it gets out of hand I simply move to another area of the casino. Bottom line, the casinos understand the connection and that is why it is allowed.

I used to sell computer equipment to the Muckleshoots. Good client. At the same time, one of my colleagues handled the account for the Stillaguamish tribe. When they went to set up an open account and filled out their credit application (which was designed primarily for businesses), in the blank for 'date established', the Indians wrote: "Long ago." Touché.

You are right, the trio of addictions. Smoking, Drinking and Gambling. Lovely... I'm so glad I'm not an addict.

Actually that is not correct. The only reason they allow smoking is because the casino sits on Tribal land.

I ate at the Snoqualmie Casino and the Restaurant was smoke free and very nice... Highly recommend it.
