Okay so a few years ago I watched a special on the travel channel (I think) and in it was an aqua blue lake that looked like the Caribbean. I remember that it was quite a bit inland towards the Eastern side of the state. They mentioned that you could swim in it etc. We are deciding on a vacation spot and I would really like to find that lake!

I'm with Ira. My bet would be on Lake Chelan as well. It's an area that would likely be featured on a travel channel. Same 80 degree water as the Caribbean as well...

Well, the description given narrowed it down to a couple hundred lakes...it definitely could be Lake Chelan, but, aqua blue, quite a ways toward the eastern side and swimmable covers a lot of ground.

Lake Chelan. Moses Lake is not Aqua Blue. There are several condos that are really nice there. Wapato Point is one.
