You are a brilliant photographer Lamplight. These photos of Seattle feel so lonely an desolate somehow.

Thanks gilevich! I certainly didn't set out to take pictures that seem lonely or desolate, but my pictures are often dark/underexposed and when I took those it was a very cloudy day in late afternoon, so I can easily see how they'd give that impression.

Had some neat colors over the Puget Sound during the sunset this afternoon (Taken from Redondo Beach)

Lamplight, what camera/lens etc do you use? I actually drove through DT Seattle today with intent to take some photo's, but work ended up taking priority and I had to split before I even found a parking spot!

Great shot Chris! I use a Fuji X10 for 99% of my photos, though occasionally I'll use one of my old film cameras just for fun.

I was unfamiliar with the X10, had to do a quick google on it. Looks like a neat little camera actually!

Fuji later released the X20, with a few somewhat minor updates. Very useful things, but not enough for me to justify the upgrade. Now I'm waiting for an X30, but so far...nothing. The X10 is excellent for what it is, and used examples can be bought for cheap. When I got this camera I still had a Canon 7d, and I ended up selling it because I always took the X10 out instead!
