Olympic National Park; Second or Third beach, probably Third. I was a bit more impressed by the Oregon Coast in general though, but that was definitely a nice spot. Here's another, it's taken from Canada but Washington is in the picture frame so I think it counts.

It's at a lower elevation (4100? feet) than Denver. Would never want to live there, but it's a great place to camp. Find a clearing off the side of the road and it feels you have the whole forest to yourself. Just find a spot a little lower down unless you enjoy camping on snow. The spot I found was next to a small waterfall.
