I love the look of that moss. I can't wait for some stream/waterfall pictures, especially with the time exposure. Those pictures are always amazing!

Default host?

"...host them elsewhere and use the "image" feature when posting. If you don't have a hosting site, I have a couple excellent free ones anybody can use."

Hi scirocco22. I've got some nice ones to post. Can you give us the hosting site addresses?

Thanks!

Hi kettles!

Upload your pictures to a hosting site that allows transferring. A good one that I use that's free and user-friendly is photobucket.

Once you have them uploaded to a hosting site, then copy the assigned URL for the photo you want to post into the bar which shows up when you click on the "insert image" icon .

Or you can manually insert the tags if you wish by using the IMG tags.

Your picture will then show up inside your post.

If you have any questions or want me to walk you through it, let me know. I'm looking forward to seeing your pics.

Here's another alternative to using an outside hosting site. You also have the ability to have this site host the pictures as attachments to your posts and have the picture show within the post.

Here is the procedure:

Click on the little paper clip icon located above the text box. Another window will open up that's called "Manage Attachments."

Choose the pictures from you local drive that you want to display by clicking on the "browse" button.

Once a picture is chosen from your local drive, click on the "upload" button.

When upload is complete, you'll see the attachment listed under "Current Attachments."

Repeat the procedure for the rest of the pictures you want to be displayed.

When finished, go back to the little paper clip icon and click on it.

When the menu drops down, you'll see the list of attachments you just uploaded. Choose which ones you want to show up in your post or select "insert all" if you want all the pictures you just uploaded to be displayed in your post.

After doing this, you'll see in the text box the attachement number with the "attach" tags [ ] wraped around it.

Your pictures will now show up inside your post.
