Would it be wiser to move between Seattle and Tacoma so I can look at both places for work, rather than choose one and hope to find a job there? any suggestions or advice? thanks

Seattle and Tacoma is roughly 30 minutes apart-- you might as well look at both. Seattle Economy is (and has always been) better than Tacoma.

You had some answers to the previous post:

What do you do for work? How much do you want to pay for rent? Do you like the big city? Do you like sitting in traffic? Do you have a car? Please provide more info.

Seattle is probably going to be too expensive for living downtown, and I'm not sure how many jobs in warehousing there are. I agree that Kent is probably a good option. Do you like suburb type towns? If you want to live in a downtown type setting, you'll probably like Tacoma more just because of the price you're looking at.

I think it's important to find a job before you move, and then you can decide on where to live. Look around at what areas you like, and then decide from there where to look for a job.

A lot of the warehouse jobs are going to be in places like Kent, Tukwila, and Renton, and South Seattle, and all of those places have both nice and not so nice areas to live in.
