I'll pass on that weather. I hate it when its like this here and would be miserable both ways:
90 degrees in the shade near the house with it near 100 in the sun. Its not only that, its the humidity that makes it bad. In this room in my house you will sweat a lot no matter what temp the AC is on in the summer and when the AC flips on, it gives me a headache.
I've never experienced temperatures that hot so I can't say how I'd respond to being in that sort of environment. Although I'd imagine that it almost feels like being in an oven. As much as I hate heat and humidity, I think I'd rather deal with 90 F and humid than 120 F!
It was interesting to read and listen to the local forecast. I've never heard that voice guy say "High 120". Or "High 100" for that matter!
The one thing I'm glad about with this heat we have is I'm going on a trip....to the Smoky Mountains mid week next week! Unfortunately Gatlinburg will be just 5 degrees cooler then us but its better then nothing (we'll have to go up a mountain).

Oh I LOVE the Smoky Mountains!!!!!!!!!! And even if it's hot you've still got the mountains to look at!!

I would hate to be somewhere 5 F cooler than here; I'd need a coat.

It feels like summer left the northeast US a week ago.
As far as mornings go, they are summer-like.
But with all the overcast and rain, it always feels like morning.
Maybe Toronto's been lucky, but our winds have been light-to-calm for our cool-spell.
Dewpoints are also summer-like (50's F and low 60's F) and I'm enjoying them since I'm aware of its effect;
"cool-but-clogged-air" which keeps the chill down if the winds pick up... and no winter-dry skin.
Chilly or "not-warm" in your part of New England too?
Well I can say that I have been there at 114 in vegas. Its very dangerous with such dry conditions really as you don't cool like when sweatinglike with humidity. I went to a mall that had a misting system above there walkway and not a drop touched the ground.Anyone that was in the army with the wet bulb being reported knows this is when heat fatigue and stroke are dangerous.
