August was certainly cooler than July, although the last two weeks were a drastic difference. Pretty much went from cloudy with temperatures struggling to reach 70 F to blazing sunshine and highs in the 90s.

This is my first FULL month in my new state of Colorado, and I LOVED it! I prefer nights in the 50s, but way better than hot and humid. Not bad for summer, even got two weak cool fronts to give us a break from constand weather. September is even better so far! So overall, above avg. precip, and above average temps, but I didn't mind.
