A very average month as far as temperature and precipitation goes.

My weather seems to track ilovemycomputer90 closely

Chicopee, MA

Average High: 83F
Average Low: 60F
Average: 71F

Highest High: 94F (31st)
Lowest High: 66F (23rd)

Highest Low: 72F (4th)
Lowest Low: 44F (28th)

Precipitation: 2.83 (drier than average, more half was in one day late in the month)

Fairly average summer temperatures, noticeably cooler than last month

We must have had a couple more showers than where your located.

August was certainly cooler than July, although the last two weeks were a drastic difference. Pretty much went from cloudy with temperatures struggling to reach 70 F to blazing sunshine and highs in the 90s.

This is my first FULL month in my new state of Colorado, and I LOVED it! I prefer nights in the 50s, but way better than hot and humid. Not bad for summer, even got two weak cool fronts to give us a break from constand weather. September is even better so far! So overall, above avg. precip, and above average temps, but I didn't mind.
