Brrrr. Hard to believe San Antonio is as cold as NW New Jersey! Stay warm!
Half past noon now but at noon it was -5.4°C/22.3°F and sunny.
I also realized in my last post of the temperature I wrote "13.0C (8.6F)" instead of "-13.0C (8.6F)". Why is it that I seem to make typos on the weather forum (or sometimes when I talk about weather in general), when I don't really make that many typos in daily life?

When you deal with minus temperatures as often as you do there do people actually still say 'minus' when it's obvious anyway? Only I remember listening to the radio one cold morning in Germany and the presenter was reading a list of all these cities and temperatures like 7, 10, 13, 18 etc which didn't sound right at all, only he said in a very deep, staccato, Schwarzenegger-like voice afterwards "Zis is, of course, minus"! They'd also specifically say 'plus' if there was any confusion about how mild it was, which I've never heard here.
