Imagine a genie in a bottle allows you to determine the basic weather conditions (temp, humidity, cloud cover, wind and rain) and that these conditions will then persist forever. What parameters do you choose?

Here's my choice:

25 C / 77 F
55% humidity
2 oktas cloud cover
15 km/hr / 9 mph wind
No rain

I don't like the same weather all the time forever (just like I couldn't eat the same food 3 times a day 365 days).

But if I had to choose:
80F/27C
30-50% humidity
gentle breeze
clear skies with bright sunshine

This is such a hard question to answer because I love so many different types of weather.

I would have to say....

80 degrees with a gentle, warm rain.

No thunder, no lightning, just a nice steady, gentle rain.

Where there are pine trees. (For some reason pine trees smell WONDERFUL when it rains.)

Sometimes I wonder why I am not living in the PNW instead of Missouri.

For me:

90F (32C)
75% humidity
mostly clear skies with perhaps a few clouds
light breeze of 5 mi/10 km per hour

High of about 40 or cooler is fine, low about 22. I like cloudy days because it usually means cooler weather, but a few blue skys are ok with a brisk wind. Oh a very low dew point, about 30 is great.

I don't think 80 degrees and rain is a very common combination in the PNW. The summers are rather and the dewpoints are low. If it rained in the summer, it would be cooler than 80.

It usually cools down a bit when it rains in the summer. I think 80 is rather warm for rainfall except for a thunderstorm unless you're in a very humid place.

Forever, huh. I would say 60F with partly sunny skies, 50% RH, and a 5mph wind. That would certainly simplify my wardrobe.
