C+. Winters can get snow, but it's better than any Northern climate.

Solid A. Not a fan of the cooler winters (I prefer Atlanta's or warmer) BUT summer is much nicer. Higher elevation makes it nice and comfortable.

I also checked the data once upon a time and it actually gets about the same amount of 70s as places farther south (as in Florida).

Also, and a lot of people probably don't think of this, Asheville and the other higher elevations don't fall victim to the awful cold air wedges in winter. At 700 feet in elevation in NE GA we'd be stuck in the 40s and 50s with overcast/foggy conditions but above 2000 feet in elevation Asheville would be in the low 60s and quite nice. All that warm air coming from the south went right over the cold air down at lower levels.

Beautiful summers for east coast standards. The winters are far too cold for my liking. They should've been at least 4C warmer.

One of the better Southeastern climates since it has more distinct seasons and a cooler winter/spring.

Loses points for being ungodly sunny and a relatively wimpy winter.

On the plus side, it does get ample precipitation throughout the year and the summer isn't as eternally long as some as the other Southeastern cities.

I've been to the city and it's surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
