I think this one is interesting. What shall you choose? Warmer, cloudier Pittsburgh or sunnier, colder Toronto? I already know what deneb is going to pick

The Pittsburgh climate page might take a little while longer to load, since I linked to the old version with the sunshine hours (instead of percent possible) loaded.

For those that don't know, Pittsburgh's sunshine hours are overestimated. I believe the real hours, using Canadian standards, is around 1800, not 2023

Pittsburgh's climate is superior to Toronto imho.
Pittsburgh is quite often 10+F warmer in the colder half of the year.

May be slightly cloudier but solar exposure might be the same because Pittsburgh's latitude, plus altitude.

Pittsburgh is still not far enough south for me to feel happy to call it "home"
but it is not far from one of my favourite climates; central West Virginia

Interesting one. It's a close call and both climates would get an A from me. I voted for Toronto because it has colder and snowier winters, less winter rain and more sunshine seasonality. Oh, and Toronto's winter warm records are much more tolerable.
Still, I prefer Pittsburgh's rainier spring/summer and warmer summer afternoons.

Not too shocking considering the standard deviation in the US during the winter. Record January high where I live is 22 C...20 C above the average January high. Of course such warmth isn't common either.
