I give Phoenix a solid C. It's beautiful (I love the palm trees and desert scenery) and the high sunshine. BUT, it might be too sunny...I wish it would rain there more, which would also improve the air quality. Winters are pretty cool, even a bit cooler than southern California winters, but not bad. Spring and fall is nice...my problem is that I like humidity and thunderstorms, and the summer monsoon doesn't produce enough of those. Summer is WAY too dry and hot for me to enjoy that kind of weather. I'm all for warm nights, but those nights are TOO warm in summer, and days that are 107F with no sea breeze is AWFUL! It's like being in a blowdryer! There's no greenery from this, and also with the sun beating down on you from such weather, it's just awful. I gave it a C because it does have at least some appeal with warmer weather than much of the country, and the beauty of the desert. If it had a beach nearby, I'd be all for it!

Big fat F from me.

Horrendous summers.
The rest of the year is ok.
I could never live there year round.

Way too hot and arid, I don't really see the appeal of moving to Arizona other than mild winters - seems too hot in summer even for most warm lovers.

F+

B. For all of the same reasons I rated Eilat Israel, no chance of snow but way way too dry.

F+. Summers are too hot, but winter temperatures are great (though not for the winter).

Too hot, too sunny, too arid. As there's no E rating, F it is.

Why on earth did I give this a C? An E (F+ here) it is. My clemency is dwindling.
