Yes, the crocuses are finally blooming! Signs of Spring, but flurries in the forecast, they just won't give it up. Chance of snow tomorrow, too but high 50's for the weekend!

Finally! I know its exciting, thats how I feel when we start to see ours in February.
I have a friend in SE Minnesota and I alerted her that 60° was in the forecast this week up there, she is overjoyed. She just moved there this past November from Tennessee and was not used to snow cover all winter long - that dont happen in Tennessee, even in the highest mountains over 6000 ft its not on the ground all winter long. She said most has melted, but like you said, they still have the piles in the parking lots where she lives just north of Minneapolis, lol.
Things really getting green here in northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia.... all of the recent rains, warm temps have many trees leafing out.... tall grass, etc. Mid to upper 80s forecasted this weekend should really get all of the other things popping!
Haven't noticed anything budding yet, but I think in a week or so things will start happening.
Slight chance of snow showers this week, but the NWS is forecasting a high of 76 F for Monday with thunderstorms. Although its been a chilly start, spring is here!

Things are really starting to ramp up, I'd say within a week's time half of the trees will have leaves. Today they just shot out despite it being cloudy most of the day. Some medium sized trees have tiny leaves that look odd, some trees look like cotton from far as well. The little cherry blossoms (not too much of these) are pink, almost all small plants are blooming so it's very colorful, I like the contrast, I never really payed it much mind until this year.
The huge huge trees which bloom last have very visible buds. I suspect they'll be last unless we get that significant warm up that's in the forecast, that might make them bloom earlier. The weeping willow looking trees (I assume they're related) already have long lime green leaves, they stand out a lot since they're the main green things on the horizon.
I need resume taking pics, I'd like for it to be sunny though.
