It gets an A from my perspective. Moderated 4 season climate with pleasant weather year round. Similar to eastern Tennessee, the most Ideal climate for me.

I like that Sochi technically has 4 seasons with a very long spring/autumn, decent summer, and a mostly mild winter. I also like the decent annual sunshine and the precipitation.

I would give this an even higher grade if summers were a bit warmer and longer, and if annual sunshine was higher.
My thoughts.

Eastern Tennessee is noticeably cooler in winter though.

C+ The winters are colder than I like, definitely could use a bit more sun, summers look temperate but wet. Probably the best in RF though.

D+ for me, winters are too mild overall, i guess the presence of a real winter with snow and frost is limited to about a few days or a week at most.

Summer nights too warm, make them 4 or 5°C cooler and it would be acceptable.
Its nice for a holiday location though.

Summers are weak both in average highs and record highs, however the minimum temps are good. Winters would annoy me. It would be like three straight months of November here which is very cloudy damp and cool. Autumn and Spring are good. Low sunshine hours.

I give it a D.
