Seems whenever London is in the frame folk only look at the summer data - and then pick the opposition who may have sunnier ,or maybe warmer, on even drier conditions lol

and if the summers are worse at that place ,then folk will point out the winter deficiencies - if London is milder than it will be lack of snow ,if the opposite then London is too cold

It cannot win lol

That is correct. I think London only ever won 4 climate battles on here, and one of those was against Vostok (where Vostok actually got some votes)!

London would lose to Lerwick on here, just because it's London.

Now all of those polls will mysteriously be bumped, and London will happen to lose all of them.

I think it's because its Vancouver and it's a very rainy cool climate - rain//cold winter , usually the least welcomed .

The towns in that list of yours are atrocious

I voted for Vancouver because it has decent sun hours, it's colder in winter (despite having anyway too cool summers) and it gets more snow and rain. So a strong preference over London.

London easily

Warmer day and night
Warmer Winter ,Summer.Autumn and Spring
a hell of a lot Dryer

London cloudier - but most of Vancouvers sun is concentrated with a great possibility of missing a chunk of that due to the very long days .

Vancouvers winters horrendously wet - making the cold feel colder .

another Anti London thread lol

More chance of snow in London....I don't think so

Been to both.

Being a Beatle fan I like London....Abbey Road and all that....

I prefer Vancouver, summer is better there.
Spring and fall are similar.
Winter, edge to London but I like that Vancouver can get colder more "wintery" weather.

Would love to do a London vs. Dallol battle to see how it pans out (certain London would win but would want to see by how much?) but the mods would close the thread quickly.
