Some cities in Siberia have average summers highs in the 70s and 80s with records up to 100 F. May not be the heat seen in subtropical or desert climates, but it's not terribly cool.

Yakutsk has an average max in July of 25c . 77f.. much higher than Vancouver or London.

it also has a record high of 101F.. not bad for Siberia and higher than some tropical locaitons

My town has a record high of 104°; not too different. Though I'd imagine if Yakutsk reaches 101°F; it's a dry 101°F.

Vancouver gets more snow and sunshine than London, so I pick Vancouver.

Well I picked London in the end. The average low of 1c in January would mean it's a bit more prone to cold.. but what do I know

I grew up in S. Louisiana, moved to Los Angeles there for 13 years, moved to London in Dec 2009 and I MISS THE SUNSHINE! Moving to Vancouver is in the cards but not certain so this poll has helped. Having known what rain is like from my youth and now in London I don't think I'd mind Vancouver as long as I know there's way more sunshine there than in dreary London. Also, I hear there's way more outdoor activities in Vancouver. Here in London I find it too cold to want to go out especially during Autumn and Winter. My LA tan has long since faded. Vancouver is looking good after reading the stats!

Vancouver - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

London is warmer in every month. Vancouver gets about 300 extra sunshine hours but twice as much rainfall.

London as it's warmer year round.

Those stats are for Heathrow anyway, London itself has slightly higher average temperatures...
