NOTE: THIS IS NOT TALKING ABOUT WHEN YOUR FIRST FREEZE IS. THIS IS TALKING ABOUT THE AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE.

In the part of DC where I'm from, the period is from about December 5 to March 6 (which almost roughly corresponds with the start/finish of winter). In downtown, the period is from about December 18 to February 21 (which is about a month shorter than the actual winter season).

In the hills by Worcester MA, the period is from about November 20 to April 1 (but shorter in the actual city).

Doesn't happen at all here, at least with respect to average lows.

That is urban-heat inflated downtown,

at airport its around November 10th to April 7th.

Wikipedia doesn't seem to like showing the airport.
