You don't. People usually try to control the temperature to fall between...say, 65 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit through heating and air conditioning. No matter what the temperature outside happens to be, inside people will try to control the temperature when they can. When they can't, then they deal with it.

So a dislike of hot weather is a cover for racism?

Yes, it's Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Not true at all. You can't get sick from cold temperatures.

It's true that cold weather doesn't literally cause the cold or flu -- it's a virus that does.
But the cold/flu season does come during the winter season.

I think there are many ideas as to why the flu/cold season comes at the time when the cold weather arrives, like for instance cold weather having an effect on people's immune systems, making them get sick more easily, people spending more times indoors when it's cold and catching it more easily in dense public places, less humidity in the air that dries out the air you breath etc., though I'm no expert on these things.

Ah, I am convinced! I am now moving to the tropics or someplace warm!

She continues the tongue in cheek post...

And when the rest of the world is convinced too, they will move from the cold to the warm and then, we are all going to in trouble! Maybe the planet will tilt or an area will sink into the earth from the weight. silly wild flower

Really, it is choice sometimes. Other times people are born into the cold climate and have no resources to move or wouldn't due numerous factors. This isn't news, I know!

But my point is we can debate the virtues of the climates until the cows come home (Hey, love WI cows! ) but it won't change the factors or reasons.

Okay, now I am leaving the thread before I get snowballs thrown at me from the north!

This has been a fake funny bulletin. If it had been real you would have been directed to a funnier post to laugh at.

I don't think you understand the point of why I created this thread.

I was just saying how mild, warm, and hot temperatures are needed for human life to exist and for the world to exist. Cold and freezing weather isn't nearly as needed and probably not even needed at all.

What inspired me to create this thread was that I recently saw a post by someone in another weather forum where someone said cold and freezing weather is superior to mild, warm, and hot weather and complaining how much warm and hot weather "sucks." and how much better she thought cold and freezing weather is.

I wanted to create a thread to show how awesome mild, warm, and hot weather can be and how it is technically superior to cold and freezing weather and how that person was inaccurate in their statements with saying how much warm weather "sucks." That person thought cold and freezing weather is better for human life than warm weather and that objectively seemed like an inaccurate statement to me.

It is ok if a place still gets a few months of cold weather, as long as there is a few months or more of mild, and warm weather too.

The mods should delete this thread....the OP's theory has already been debunked and it's a stupid thread anyway. This thread is pointless.

I think we can safely assume that someone who advocates for cold weather over hot weather is probably not advocating for a global ice age. In which case this thread was pointless to begin with.
