Beautiful photo! Awesome sight, with the warm beach, palm trees, warm waves coming on shore, with the large snow capped mountain in the background.

I'm not sure if that is meant to be a real photo or not.

I believe it is the Big Island of Hawaii. The highest peaks on the island get snow on them during the winter months, even though it is still very warm on the beaches far below their summits.

It doesn't look right to me. I don't mean the combination of snow and palm, rather the image itself, it looks wrong.

There can't be many places in the world where snowy mountains are visible from palm-fringed beaches.

There'd be places like that in NZ, right, just not permanent year-round snow?

So whoever repped me, didn't have the courage to put a name with it, I love sunshine!

I would not be complaining if I had over 1,000 hrs., go to my posts, I am far from a whiner, especially compared to some people on here! The word used is native to the British/Australian/NZ, play nice guys! Of course, someone from the states could use it to lay blame elsewhere!

Uh yes I do actually, I thought it automatically put your name with your rep. I guess I must be stupid then. I didn't know I actually had to write it on.

Well anyway - I wrote the comment. Yeah come and live here and tell me about whinging huh. Oh I have seen you complain about the late start to spring over there BTW.

Please stop with the attacks and condescension (not just you). One of things liked about this forum compared to other forums on CD was that it was relatively free of that and some of the newer posters have helped the tone decline.
