A solid B.
Toronto is a solid F.

If you hate cold winter climates; total sunshine isn’t any better, either. But yea, F sounds harsh

New York City and Denver are way better than Toronto, Chicago and Montreal for example. OK F might be too harsh because they are worse climates in Russia, Norway and Iceland, but it's still bad enough and there is no E option. Seattle is a C, LA is an A.

Toronto is a B, would be an A if spring arrived in March instead of May.

Sunshine is adequate, I thought winter was relatively sunny but then I live in Europe so i'm biased.

This climate is a C+ or a B- in my book, Toronto has a surprisingly mild and solid climate given its location

C-

It's cold or cold-ish for far too long. Sunshine duration in winter is disappointing.

Real warmth starts kicking in way late around end of April. Even in May it could get chilly again for a day or two.

Then it gets humid in the summer. Could be worse, but not the best compensation in the world for enduring a 5-month winter.
