No, it's not. I had about 60 days of falling snow in 2010 and that isn't even our snowiest winter.
Er? No it really wouldn't be a significant phenomena LOL.
We've had 80 days of snowfall before lol!
Well considering the 1981-2010 Met Office average maps, have only the highest points of the mountains of N.I as receiving over 30 days of snow falling per year (& that includes sleet by the way) I am pretty sure if it snowed on as many days as you claim at your location it would be considered newsworthy, especially as it was a mild winter...
Also we all know that NI has an oceanic climate. Mountains can be different if exist. So oceanic climates have not any extreme and are actually all the same. Why you did receive more snow than your country 's coldest spot (Castlederg)???
I will accept that you can receive snow from different weather patterns because I don t know the topography of Ireland but to say that you had more snowy days from Ireland 's coldest city is not logic. It would be the same if I would say that Ioannina had more snow from Florina Greece (our coldest city which receives on average 27 days with snowfall).

Because I live in North-West and it snows more here obviously. You don't live near the ocean so you wouldn't know what it's like to have shower regime conditions.
I do. Don't believe him. (I know you don't.) How could Owen have 80 days with snow falling a winter when I have 81 days of anything falling from 1 September to 30 April!!!
