Where is the OP getting his info from then?

I choose Miami. Gets better cold snaps in winter and presumably better storms in summer.

Oh well either way Rio's lows are better, they're still about 4f lower in summer. Rio is also much more stable which means it can grow more things

Rio and Miami literally have the same annual average low. Rio's winter nights seem excessively warm and humid.

Rio seems more balanced, with cooler summer nights and warmer winter nights. I know Rio isnt exactly Rosario or Palermo, but it's a pinch better than Miami

I've always said if only we in the east could shift some of the summer heat to winter warmth it would be fantastic.

It'd be totally fine if they knocked off 10 degrees from average summer lows in the Northeast and added 5 degrees to the lows and highs in winter

If I could keep my summers and knock 60 F off of winter and 30 F off of the shoulder seasons, I'd be golden. That's not asking for too much right?
