South Coastal BC is 10 times worse than Khartoum.
The rest of Canada 1000 times worse.

Below 7 C/45 F, I find it hard to be motivated.

It works for where I am now.
Maybe 2/5ths of all winter mornings drop below 7 C/45 F... in a temperate climate!

But just think of the variety of plants you could grow in Khartoum... with irrigation, almost any tropical plant could grow

Different variety of cactus you mean. This place has no rainfall except in July.

I said with irrigation.. I know the climate is very dry there. Plants can be watered you know....

Hmm... I dunno. Tropical plants tend to be adversely affected by temps over 40 C, which Khartoumm has in abundance as well as the low humidity.

found a more reliable link that show higher averages than wikipedia Meoweather | Khartoum weather history. Khartoum average weather by month. Weather history for Khartoum, Al Khartum, Sudan
