So, to leave behind all the cold climates ve been rating lately, and the insanely hot ones, here is a warm, seasonal weather to you all.

Mendoza, Argentina - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think the summers higs are too high and the winter lows are too low. Overall the average highs for all months are warm all year, but im not sure if thats a good thing.
Its also arid and it doesnt rain much. I bet its not humid. Good thing about the no humidity, since i hate it!.

Gotta think my rating through. Its around C ish.

C+.

I want much more precipitation. Ideally, I would like anywhere from 40 to 100+ inches of annual precipitation.

Mendoza has an annual precipitation of only 8 inches.

I still like desert scenery to exist in some places but I still like and prefer higher precipitation and I like lush vegetation too.

However, I like the temperatures. It seems pretty close to my dream weather climate temperatures.
The only main difference is that the one of the months in my dream climate is a little bit colder, and the two other coldest months have warmer lows than Mendoza's two coldest months. But still pretty similar temperatures.

If Mendoza just had slightly more precipitation it would easily go into the B range for me.
However, i bet Mendoza has nice desert scenery, especially since it is near the Andes mountain range.

Yeah, thepastpresentandthefuture, you are right, Mendoza is VERY beautiful! I visit there with my schoolmates when i was 15 and it was the first time in my life i saw the sky full of stars (here in BA you cant see many stars for the pollution). Also, the scenery is STUNNING! And the weather was just perfect! (i went in the beggining of october, wich is very early spring, and we had a week of 80s highs and 50/60s low. Just perfect!!)

here some pics:

You are right about the dryness, too. I like a little bit more rain! or much more may i say (im very used to the rain since it rains lots here!). BUT,on the other hand, if the weather is dry, then the heat is much more bearable than in the humid BA when it always "feels like" more. And i guess the cold lows are much more bearable than what it seems, too.

So....for that, and for the beautiful scenery and reminding all the stars i saw and how great the weather was when i was there. I think im gonna go ahead and rate it with a B!!!

YAY!

I gave it a D+ just now. Too hot in summer and no real winter, March/Apr/Oct look ideal though. Also too arid for my tastes.

A solid A, assuming quite high sunshine. Lovely pictures, too. Rainfall level a big plus.

B looks good, summers a bit cool for me though and not enough rain/thunderstorms.

Put me on that snowy mountain in the pic above.

Otherwise, my grade is a D. Not cold enough or wet enough, and warmer than I would like.
