"These are the Days" by Jamie Cullum is one I don't see mentioned yet.

These, especially Gershwin's Summertime. And any song by Duke Ellington, don't know why...

YouTube - ‪Cliff Richard - Summer Holiday‬‏

Crap song and I would never listen to it but it reminds me of summer the most anyway.

I don't know why I didn't think of that one! Probably because I've lived in Buxton so long.

I remember being in Jersey in the hot August of 1997 and I went to the battle of the flowers parade in the scorching sunshine and that was blasting out through the streets. I thought to myself "feelin' hot hot hot - it sure is!".

^^

It isn't summer for me without a bit of sweat and sizzlin' sunshine.
Tropical fruit juices, scenery, intensely bright sunlight and a live band playing outdoors helps too.

Gentle warmth belongs only in Spring/Autumn... and perhaps a winter afternoon.

A lot of tropical-themed songs remind me of summer.
Mostly, the best days of summer,
as the weather of a garden-variety summer day in Toronto's a bit dull.
