With all of this heat I was curious of anyone is having any power outages.

If so...where are you? How long do they last? Are they forced by the electric company?

We had rolling blackouts in February of 2011 because of the EXTREME cold (by Houston standards)...

It usually depends on how much energy is being spent in an entire place. As summer peak takes place, number of people using heating increases amazingly. It overloads eletric lines and causes most of power breakouts....
