C-. The minimums are too cold for too long and even into summer stay low. I wonder how easy it would be to grow tomatoes in this climate? A lot of rain days considering the low rainfall.
FYI, it is practically impossible to grow a garden in Poky unless you have VERY short-season seeds/plants, a greenhouse, or a way to move your plants in and out during the frequent late frost advisories. (My brother does the latter - has them on rolling carts.)
Cherries, apples, barley, and wheat all do exceptionally there - as long as you know exactly when to plant and harvest. The winters are loong and pop up with frequent sudden blizzards just when you think the snow is all gone and spring has FINALLY arrived.
I like the cold and snow and blizzards, but I also like fruits and vegies, so I passed on living there.
