The record high for this day was 107 degrees in 1978 (I didn't live in central Texas them). The record low was 66 degrees in 1990 and I was here.

92 in 1980 and 51 in 1978, I was living in NE Illinois then and it was 93 in 1997 and 55 in 2003. 93 not so unusual for NE Illinois, 92 very, very unusual for Two Rivers.

Here in Paris the record low on a 20th July is a chilly 48F. Record high 101F.
Today we were much closer to the former.

We set a record for most consecutive days with boring ass weather today. With no appreciable thunderstorms or rain or anything of interest since June 18, 1847.
