B+. I love Cle Elum and the area around it. I spent a lot of time during summer, and a few times during winter, in the Teanaway Valley, just on the other side of the hill behind Cle Elum while growing up.

It has four proper seasons, good snowfall in the winter, and dry summers. Only thing that prevents an A grade is the low summer minimums. If they were to be a few degrees higher, I would definitely give this climate an A.

I would give it an A, as I like the high staying down where it is in summer. If only there were decent jobs there I'd be living there. Just a little too far for me to commute to Seattle, though many do just that.

B+, I like that a lot of the precip falls as snow, but the temps aren't cold enough to get a really good winter.

A-....ten degrees colder in January and February and a little more sun in the winter, and it would be an A+

A. Maybe summers a little too dry, otherwise very close to my ideal climate.

C+ to B-. The summer temperatures are a bit warmer than I'd prefer, but the humidity is low so it probably wouldn't bother me much. I'd prefer a little less sunshine, though. Not a bad climate, though in reality I could never live in a town that small.

D. 7 months of minimums near or below freezing, and a dry summer would make gardening a challenge. Winter looks too gloomy.

Have you ever been? Gorgeous little town! An abundance of outdoor activity all around it, just about anything you can think of, right in your own back yard!

It is small though, but it has grown a bit even since I was a kid. If I could have a decent job there, I'd live there, otherwise I can dream of owning a small cabin either there or in the neighboring Teanaway Valley as a vacation getaway.
