Buy some slippers. Rate of B. Cold, but tolerable.

I give it a B because those winter winds can be brutal and the summers are a bit to warm and humid for my taste.

I live in East Grand Forks....and for me it is a good climate as I prefer the colder side of things versus the heat.

If you like wide swings from summer to winter then this is the place. We can have a period of quite warm weather and most of mid June to mid August is pretty humid (mainly due to the crops) but it cools down nicely in September into October. Wind can be an issue year round.... but we do have pretty wide open spaces and blue sky with no pollution and summertime thunderstorms look awesome and you can see tops over 100 miles away.

I'm glad I live here.

Summer nights are too hot at nearly 60f. I cant remember the exact location, but one of these upland valley towns in North Dakota or maybe montana had average mean minima below freezing every month, despite summer days being around 80.

I haven't heard of that, but I believe it given how close Ovando, MT is

B+...November through April could have average highs and lows that are 5 F warmer...

Outside of this, it looks great.
