Really impressive, then Red Bluff is already #2 if this is the case. Are you sure that 103.3 F is the average daily high - and not the max monthly high?

Well, I was just going by what I found searching online, weatherbase and worldclimate.com also give 103F for the July high. Just glancing at the weather forecast also seems to show 100s F weather. But I've been nowhere near the place in real life... lol.

I always wondered about that;

A few times you have mentioned that the climate/weather of the PNW can at times be not warm and sunny enough for your likes. Yet, in less than 18 hours (by auto no less) you can be in some of the hottest, driest, and sunniest climates on earth.

Perhaps an annual road trip is a must for you.

Cordoba is slightly warmer than seville (ie july mean high 36.2c vs 35.3c) and slightly further north too.
